Picture Day becomes one of the most special moments at Niños de Guatemala every year. For the third year, we have captured portraits of all 540 students and staff who make up our NDG family. These pictures are more than just photographs—they are a way to see how much our students have grown, not just in height but in confidence, dreams, and aspirations.
Looking back at the pictures from 2023, we see students who were just beginning their educational journey, some stepping into their first classroom, filled with curiosity and excitement. In 2024, they stood taller, their smiles reflecting the friendships and lessons they had gained. Now, in 2025, these same students are becoming role models for the younger ones.
Along with their pictures, each student writes a personal letter. These letters are their way of sharing their thoughts, goals, and hopes for the year ahead. It’s a beautiful tradition that allows sponsors to witness their journey firsthand. Each word they write is a step toward their future, and each picture is a reminder of how far they’ve already come.
