At Niños de Guatemala, we believe that strong teams create stronger impact. That’s why, a few weeks ago, we held our very first integration activity—a day designed to bring together all of our teachers, administrators, and staff from all three schools and the main office.
Throughout the day, we laughed, danced, and played. We stepped out of our daily routines and into a space filled with joy, teamwork, and energy. We connected across roles, job titles, and school buildings.
The day featured a variety of team-building games and bonding activities. Everyone had a chance to let their guard down and simply enjoy each other’s company. Through movement and play, we encouraged open communication and understanding across departments.
This wasn’t just about having fun—it was about building trust. When we laugh together, we build bridges. When we connect beyond our job titles, we work better together.
At NDG, we believe that we are all children at heart. And when we take time to reconnect through simple, joyful experiences, we create a better environment—not just for ourselves, but for the students we serve.
This first integration activity reminded us why we do what we do—together. We left feeling refreshed, united, and motivated to continue working side by side.
Because at NDG, we’re more than coworkers—we’re one big family.
