On July 16th, we’ll be joining thousands of nonprofits worldwide for GlobalGiving’s July Bonus Day. For one day only, all donations between $100 and $1,000 USD made to our project “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty through Education” will unlock a share of a $125,000 Incentive Fund. The more we raise, the more bonus funds we receive.
But why does this matter so much?
At Niños de Guatemala, we work every day to ensure more than 540 children receive not just education, but full support to thrive — from nutritious snacks and emotional guidance to school supplies and parental workshops. Many of these families face difficult choices: Do they send their children to school or to work?
Your donation keeps them in school.
For example, $100 covers one month of schooling, nutritious meals, and learning materials for a student. $200 supplies a full grade level with school materials for a month. And $600 pays a teacher’s salary for an entire month.
But on July Bonus Day, your support goes even further.
