At Niños de Guatemala, we believe every step in a child’s education is worth celebrating. This June, our sixth-grade students from Nuestro Futuro and El Porvenir Primary Schools took part in the annual graduation photoshoot—a moment that marks the end of their primary school journey and the beginning of a new chapter in secondary school.

The photoshoot day was filled with laughter, excitement, and a little nervousness. Students smiled and posed proudly with their classmates.
This year, the portraits included only the students—no parents or diplomas—but the joy was just as real. Many of them have grown up together since first grade.
As the oldest students in their schools, they’ve grown into leaders, role models, and friends. Now, they are preparing to transition into a larger school setting, where new experiences, challenges, and friendships await. This moment is both a goodbye and a hello.
Teachers and staff couldn’t help but reflect on how far each student has come. From their first day in the classroom to this milestone, the growth is undeniable—not just in their academic abilities, but in their confidence, character, and dreams for the future.
At NDG, we are proud to offer continuous education from preschool through high school. This continuity allows us to walk alongside each student as they grow, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

As we celebrate this year’s graduating class, we’re also celebrating everything they’ve overcome to get here—and everything they’re capable of achieving moving forward.
Stay tuned to meet more of our incredible students and the bright futures they’re building, thanks to your ongoing support.
